Attached is the NOR for the 1 day Regatta being held on the 12th of September

 

LTSC One Day Sprint Regatta 12th September 2015

1. The 2015 Regatta will be a one day event  will be held under the burgee of Loch Tummel Sailing Club on Saturday September the 12th.

2. Racing will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of the RYA, the rules of each class participating, the Sailing Instructions and this Notice of Race.

3. Entry is open to all dinghies and small keel boats up to 20ft without used accommodation.

4. The clubrooms will be open from 8.30am serving food and refreshments from around 9.30, no break in the racing schedule for lunch is planned.

5. SCHEDULE

5.1.Registration will be on Saturday September the 12th between 9.00 – 10.30 am within the main club room.

5.2.Competitor Briefing will be on Saturday September 12th at 10:45 am outside main club house.

5.3.There will be a  race series of as many races as far as we accommodate with an aim (but not restricted to) of 5. If adverse conditions are forecast the number of races may be altered at the discretion of the PRO.

5.4.Race 1 will not start before 11:30 on Saturday September the 12th.

5.5.No signals will be made after 5.30pm.

6. Advertising will be as allowed by the relevant class associations.

7. SCORING

7.1.One race is required to be completed to constitute a series.

7.2.When 3 or fewer  races have been completed a boats series score will be the total of her race scores.

7.3.When 4 or more races have been completed, a boats series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.

7.4. Races will sailed level rating for classes (6 or more of the same type) or using Portsmouth Number handicap racing.

8. Depending on types of classes entered there may be 2 start lines, a committee boat as well as a shore based start line.

9. The entry fee will be be 15 UK pounds with an entry form having to be signed on before racing.

10. Entries will be accepted during the event

11. Competitors should be aware and accept that relevant personal details will be held as a computer record.

12. A copy of this NOR, and any updates will be posted on the following website www.lochtummelsc.org.

13. Prize giving will be held in the Loch Tummel Sailing Club Rooms as soon as possible after racing ends on Saturday.

14. Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third party liability insurance with a minimum cover of £2,000,000 per event or equivalent.

15. Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. The organizing Authority will not accept any Liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to during or after the regatta.
