TW 11 Week so far

Tummel Weel 2011 has gotten off to a sunny and warm start with no rain for a change!!

Note, not a lot of comment about the wind :-)

Sunday started with the Anniversary race with all classes starting together.Tricky North wind left several splits in the fleet between those with and without the wind. 120-180 wind shits between boats 50 yards apart kept everybody guessing. The overall lucky person (no suprise) was Mike Barron in the FF.

Sunday nights supper of Sword Steak Pies wenet down well and thanks again to David Sword for the sponsorship.

Monday race 2 was steadier with good planning conditions in the gusts that left one of the RS800 potential entries in 2014 100m swimming. The fast being won by Hugh & Helen Watson (upright RS800) and the slow by Niamh Harper (Opi)

The 3rd race (Monday late afternoon) was again very patchy and light to zero with Colin Scott & Graham Logan (ISO) getting the right side of the wind gods in the fast fleet and Ian Sword (Opi).
