Friends,

Third volume attached of Jim's slides and photographs harking back to a time when the 15's were sailed off the moorings and before the facilities were built for them.

I hope you enjoy these.

With thanks again to Jim and Barbara.

Watch out for the forthcoming Friends party invite which is scheduled this year for the 3rd September.

Regards,

Richard

ltscptbo1Push The Boat Out

Loch Tummel Sailing Club

(Foss, South Side of Loch Tummel PH16 5NQ)

Saturday 20th May 11.00 – 16.00

Loch Tummel Sailing Club is looking forward to welcoming all people who would like a taste of what sailing is all about. We will be offering trips with an experienced sailor and/or an opportunity to have a go yourself under safe, supervised conditions absolutely free.

There will be the chance to meet our friendly members, see our comfortable, well equipped clubhouse and sample our famous catering.

The club is well established with a reputation as a family friendly venue. In addition to weekly, Sunday, racing the club programme has something for everyone. Each year we host Tummel Week: a holiday week, with daily sailing for all standards, and activities for all age groups.

At the start of the school holidays we have a children’s camp, over a long weekend where the emphasis is on fun and confidence on the water.

Each month there is a ’Ladies Who Launch’ day, midweek, nominally between 10.00 and 16.00, when ladies can have some fun on the water, without husbands and children,  and enjoy copious amounts of cake and chat.

This year we are reintroducing family Saturdays once a month and we are hoping to trial some midweek evening sails.

So, come and see for yourselves, learn more, and help us ‘Push the Boat Out’

Friends,

I hope that you enjoy the second volume of photos from Jim's album featuring a number this time of the club being built in addition to the sailing photos.

Interesting to see the club developing and the hard work going into it in these slides.

With thanks again to Jim and Barbara.

Regards,

Richard
