Friends,

Please find attached the invite for our annual 'Friends of Loch Tummel' party.

As you will see from the photographs in the invite we had a gazebo tent last year which was a bit of a hit - our own mini 'Tummel in the park' sort of!

I hope that you can come along.

Regards,

Richard

PS the photo is not actually 'soft focus' intentionally and you can make the link - my young son taking the photos before, and after, he had a bit of cake...

Friends,

I hope that you enjoy the second volume of photos from Jim's album featuring a number this time of the club being built in addition to the sailing photos.

Interesting to see the club developing and the hard work going into it in these slides.

With thanks again to Jim and Barbara.

Regards,

Richard

Friends,

Third volume attached of Jim's slides and photographs harking back to a time when the 15's were sailed off the moorings and before the facilities were built for them.

I hope you enjoy these.

With thanks again to Jim and Barbara.

Watch out for the forthcoming Friends party invite which is scheduled this year for the 3rd September.

Regards,

Richard

Friends,

Jim has a photo album and collection of transparencies of the club in its early days which he brought to the last Friends party.

The photos have now been scanned in and are being issued in three volumes, the first of which is attached.

I hope that you enjoy these and if you have any photos or stories for our next newsletter I would be happy to receive them.

With thanks to Jim and Barbara.

Second and third edition will follow on shortly and feature photos of the club being built and some happy sailing photos.

There is one coming up of the original clubhouse (formerly a schoolhouse) newly assembled and without the extended front - the only one the Friends has on this at the moment so if you have any of the clubhouse actually going up please let me know.

Regards,

Richard
